Meet the founder
Harinee Ohri MSc (Sports and Exercise Medicine) CSP, HCPC
Harinee has 20 years’ experience as a physiotherapist and founded Leading Edge Sports Clinic to bring high-quality sports physiotherapy in Woodberry Down and the Finsbury Park area, in response to the demand she saw from people looking for treatment close to home. She has worked in Premier League football, for prestigious sports medicine clinic Pure Sports Medicine, as a Clinical Lead at high-end gym Third Space and as a specialist at teaching hospital Kings College Hospital, one of London’s biggest polytrauma centres. Her interest and passion in sports injury rehabilitation led her to completing a Masters in Sports Medicine from Queen Mary’s University London.
She believes in not just managing the immediate symptoms, but working with the patient to help achieve a return to their goals and then preventing the problem recurring in the future. Managing a condition involves using detailed clinical reasoning and a multidisciplinary approach. She also has an extensive network of local and London-based specialists to draw on to ensure the patient receives the best plan to aid in their recovery.
Harinee now divides her time working as Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in the NHS and private practice. She worked at the London 2012 Olympics and has treated athletes at rugby clubs, BUCS university sports teams and those competing in track and field, rowing, tennis and swimming.
